FAULT Magazine

For the past few weeks a particular Magazine caught my attention. When i buy magazines I usually go for ones that are about cars and video games, things that interest me. Topcar magazine and Gear have been my main supplements after comic books but now there is Fault. This is the first fashion magazine that has manage do catch and keep my attention.

Images were sourced from their website http://fault-magazine.com/

Layout: The layout has a nice uniformity that is aided by a three column grid and this gets applied throughout the pages that have text, an exception being a page with a single column and an image.

Type: The typeface used creates legible pages and there is an appropriate use of bold text. This is applied to sentences such as questions in one of the many interviews conducted with each issue. The legibility is also  reinforced by the use of a san serif font.

Content: Being a dominantly fashion magazine, the content includes numerous pages with posing models but also images of well known personalities from various industries.

2014

We are in 2014 and I'm hoping to post more than avarage content than last year. I will be posting about insight that not only relate to design and its history but about things I find helpful as general knowledge. Some of there content will be part of my notes for reference and just things I believe one must be aware of. Let's see where this road will lead to.
